Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

The short version: ListQR is built to keep your data on your device. Your scans, lists, items, photos and notes are stored locally. We don't require an account, we don't sell your data, and we never see the contents of your lists.

1. Who we are

ListQR (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a QR & barcode scanning and list-making app, developed and operated by Nasj Alhulul (نسج الحلول), Saudi Arabia — the data controller responsible for your information. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. Contact: support@listqr.app.

2. Information stored on your device

The following is created and stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us:

  • Your lists, list items, quantities, prices and notes.
  • Scanned QR/barcode values and the content they decode to.
  • Photos you attach to items (kept in the app's local storage).
  • App settings and preferences.

If you enable device backup — Apple iCloud on iPhone/iPad, or Google Drive / Android auto-backup on Android — this data may be backed up to your own private cloud account, under your control. We have no access to it.

3. Camera

ListQR uses your camera only while a scanning screen is open, to read QR codes and barcodes on-device. Camera frames are processed in real time and are not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. ListQR does not record audio.

4. Photos

If you attach a photo to an item, the app accesses the specific image you choose. Photos are stored locally with your list and are not uploaded to us.

5. Face ID / biometrics

You can lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your operating system; ListQR never receives your biometric data.

6. Purchases & subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. These providers process a purchase token and an anonymous identifier to tell the app whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your card number or full payment details. See the RevenueCat, Apple and Google privacy policies.

7. Crash & diagnostic data

To keep the app stable we use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and technical diagnostics (e.g. device model, OS version, and the error that occurred). These reports do not contain the contents of your lists. See the Sentry privacy policy.

8. What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • We do not show third-party advertising.
  • We do not require you to create an account to use the core app.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.

9. Children

ListQR is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and does not knowingly collect their data.

10. Your rights

Because your content lives on your device, you can view, edit or delete any list at any time inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from your device. For questions about privacy rights (including GDPR/CCPA requests relating to diagnostic data), email support@listqr.app.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
